EEOC Proposes New Wellness Program Regulations
Current national surveys on employer-sponsored group health plans show that 50-80% of employers offer some type of wellness program. This is not surprising as wellness programs can encourage people to adopt healthy behaviors and also help control health care spending. While the potential benefits of a successful wellness program are clear, the laws regarding their implementation often are not.
