Stephen Kalmus
Stephen Kalmus is a Sr. Sales Executive with the Middletown, NY branch of Marshall & Sterling Insurance. He specializes in all lines of commercial insurance programs for both large and small businesses, providing a broad range of commercial liability coverages, property & casualty, workers’ compensation, risk analysis and loss control services, as well as safety policies and programs. He provides exceptional insurance services and support to a diverse grouping of industries throughout the Hudson Valley in New York. Stephen is also a member of Marshall & Sterling President’s Club, in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in sales and client service.
A seasoned veteran of the insurance industry, Stephen holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration & Finance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He is licensed as a property and casualty, as well as life and health insurance broker through the New York State Insurance Department, and is also a graduate of The Hartford School of Insurance. Stephen serves on the 2013 Sales Advisory Panel for Marshall & Sterling.
An active and dedicated community volunteer, Stephen serves on the Board of Directors for the newly formed Greater Monroe Chamber of Commerce. He is a current member, and former Vice President, of the Chester Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He is also a member, ex-Lieutenant and former Vice President of the Chester Fire Department, and a member and former President and Secretary / Treasurer of the Monroe Chapter of Business Network International and former member of the Monroe-Woodbury Rotary Club. Stephen is also a certified Defensive Driving Instructor and a CPR / First Aid Instructor for the American Heart Association. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2006 “Member of the Year” award from the Chester Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the 2010 Hudson Valley BNI Givers Gain Award.
