Kevin Viaña

Kevin Viaña is Senior Vice President and Construction Practice Group Leader, with 30+ years of experience in underwriting and sales. He has served in almost every position of Underwriting and Sales -from both the Insurance Company and Brokerage side. He specializes in all forms of insurances and bonds for the Construction Industries.

Prior to joining Marshall & Sterling, Kevin was the Superintendent of the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company's Western New York offices, Rochester and Buffalo where his specialties included the Money Handling and Construction Industries. Kevin received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Marist College in 1981.

In addition to serving on Agency Advisory Panels of various Insurance Companies, Kevin has held Board of Director positions with various trade organizations and has presented at seminars across the country on risk management, insurance, risk transfer and loss control topics. Kevin is certified by the International Risk Management Institute.

Kevin is a member of the Financial Service Centers of America (FiSCA), the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA), the Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA), the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), and numerous related State Associations.
