HV Light It Up Blue was founded in 2012 with two friends and a simple idea to raise money and awareness, not knowing how large an idea can spread. The idea was to pick a school or an organization that worked to better the lives of those diagnosed with Autism, to be able to give them equal opportunities in everything possible.
Hudson Valley Light It Up Blue is a 501(c)(3) under the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan. They are committed to raising awareness of Autism and raising funds that 100% go directly to a different school or organization every year that is geared towards making the lives of those with Autism better, giving them equal opportunities in everything possible. This year, all proceeds will benefit Beautiful People, the OC Chapter of Miracle League, for the development of Orange County's FIRST 'Field of Dreams' so that ALL children have a chance to play baseball and enjoy the benefits of being a part of a team!
