Five Insurance Professionals Join Marshall & Sterling’s Leeds, NY Team
We are pleased to announce the addition of four insurance professionals to our Leeds, NY branch team; Justin Snow - account manager, Lindsay Rybinsky - personal lines CSR, Michelle Conway - claims advocate, Stacey Newman – commercial lines assistant and Kristin Goetz-Raffo, executive assistant. Recently, all five individuals successfully completed their property & casualty insurance licenses from the New York State Department of Finance.
Justin Snow holds a bachelors degree from Marist College, and recently completed his MBA from the College of Saint Rose. Prior to joining Marshall & Sterling, Justin worked for over a decade in the banking industry, including tenure as a senior commercial loans portfolio manager. An active community volunteer, Justin resides in Athens has been involved with “Cash for Cats”, a program developed to provide scholarships for students in the Catskill School District. Justin provides commercial insurance account services in his new role with Marshall & Sterling.
Lindsay Rybinsky came to Marshall & Sterling after serving as a life & health insurance agent. A resident of Coxsackie, Lindsay holds an associates degree from Columbia Greene Community College, as well as NYS insurance licenses for property & casualty, life, health and accident. She was awarded the “2013 Manager of the Year Award” from her previous company, and is also a member of the Coxsackie Yacht Club. Lindsay now provides a wealth of personal lines client services in her role with Marshall & Sterling.
Michelle Conway worked within the banking industry before coming to Marshall & Sterling, holding a variety of positions including Assistant Branch Manager, and working in the loan and security/compliance departments. In her new role, Michelle handles a variety of claim-related functions including submission of personal line claims, workers’ compensation and disability. Michelle resides in Hannacroix.
Stacey Newman joined Marshall & Sterling after working within the financial and non-profit sectors. She holds a bachelors degree in actuarial science from SUNY Albany, and resides in Catskill, NY with her wonderful 8-year old daughter. In her new role, Stacey assists with policy processing, insurance renewals, certificates of insurance and management of customer records from insurance carriers.
Kristin Goetz-Raffo joined Marshall & Sterling on a part-time basis in 2015, and has now joined the staff full –time. She holds an associates degree from Columbia Green Community College, and prior to coming to Marshall & Sterling worked in direct sales within the retail jewelry industry. In her current role Kristin assists clients and staff with both personal and commercial insurance needs. Kristin lives in Catskill with her terrific 8-year old son.
