John Harper

John W. Harper is President of Marshall & Sterling St. Croix, Inc. John moved to the Virgin Islands in 1985, having been transferred to St. Croix with GAB Business Services as a Claims Adjuster. After a year on St. Croix and a year on St. Thomas with GAB, he joined Marshall & Sterling St. Croix as an Account Executive in 1987. He became Branch Manager in 2005.

John was President of the Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle (1998-99), and served Rotary District 7020 as Assistant District Governor for the island of St. Croix 2009-2012. He was President of the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation (1987 to 1995), served on the board of Country Day School (1996-02) and is currently on the board of Good Hope Country Day School. He is also currently on the board of the Foundation of the University of the Virgin Islands.

Originally from Wilmington Delaware, John graduated from the University of Richmond (Virginia) with a BA in Economics.
